S.T.A.R. project receives funding — to train Ukrainian women as Service Advisors

V94 AB has been granted project funding from the Swedish Institute for S.T.A.R.
(Strengthening Transnational Automotive Resilience). The project will last for 14 months
train female Ukrainian war refugees to be Service Advisors in Sweden, Poland and Ukraine.

The Service Advisor role is a strategic career choice that requires limited technical
prior knowledge but offers good career opportunities in the automotive industry, where the demand for
trained staff in Ukraine is huge.

“We want to create sustainable routes back to Ukraine and the labour market for Ukrainian women
who have been forced to flee their home country,” says Stefan Halldén, contact person for the project. By
combining vocational training with industry contacts in three countries, we create concrete
employment opportunities.

Three countries — one network

The project is carried out in cooperation between V94 AB and our partners in Sweden, Poland and
Ukraine. The partnership builds on long-term cooperation on vocational training in
automotive industry.

The training consists of three modules covering everything from customer communication and
automotive technology to professional service tools. A key part is that Maria Gronska from
Autoexpert, a Ukrainian professional woman who continued to work in Kyiv during the war, leads
Education in all three countries.

Both skills development and practical professional experience

The project combines classroom instruction with field visits to car repair shops.

— Involving employers from the start and creating a tri-national network ensuresvi att utbildningen möter verkliga behov på arbetsmarknaden, We believe that education meets real needs in the labour market, says Stefan Halldén.

The project will start in October 2025 and run until November 2026.
